At Oak and Otter we build cabinets in a multitude of styles to meet any clients design wishes. These styles include traditional overlay, modern overlay and inset.

Our specialty is designing and constructing inset and beaded inset cabinetry. Inset cabinets are distinctive in that the doors and drawers fit within the cabinet frame, creating a seamless and smooth appearance. This style contrasts with overlay cabinets, where the doors and drawers overlap the cabinet frame.

Inset cabinetry requires precise measurements and careful craftsmanship to ensure that the doors and drawers fit accurately within the frame without overlapping creating a classic and refined aesthetic.
